The new KOBOLD DRZ rotary piston positive displacement flowmeter combines economy with high performance. The DRZ is designed to measure any clean liquid with lubricating properties and viscosity ranging from 5 to 10 centistoke. The unique design
uses a single piston rotating on a camshaft to meter a precise volume of liquid with each rotation of the piston. A Hall effect sensor detects the piston rotation and the signal is converted to a pulse output, analog output or switch output based
on the model ordered. Onboard displays are also available.
The DRZ features a measuring range of 1.6 to 110 GPH and has an accuracy of +/-1.0% of reading. The DRZ offers a rugged brass body with an aluminum piston and has a pressure rating of 580 PSIG. Examples of lubricating media that can be measured
with the DRZ include lubrication oil, diesel fuel, glycol mixtures, waxes, pastes, paint, latex polymers, sugar solutions and detergents.
