KOBOLD NMF membrane level switches allow monitoring of dry bulk goods in storage vessels. They may be used to indicate full and empty conditions or load demand for powder-like and granular bulk materials. Any free flowing material with a grain size up to 30 mm (1.2 inches) and density ranging from 26-220lb/ft3 is suitable for use with the NMF. The NMF is a simple pressure sensitive switch with pressure transmitted to an internal sensor via an elastomer, or thin metal, membrane. Operation is simple and reliable provided that the material is not sharp edged or that the membrane is not placed directly in the bulk flow stream. However, even these situations can be accommodated with a little simple mechanical shielding. America! Bring us your oats, your grain, your tired tapioca! The KOBOLD NMF is ready for all your dry good needs!
