KOBOLD Instruments, Canada, is proud to announce the hiring of Chris Mueller as our Technical Sales Representative for the Western Canada Region.
In 1978 Chris graduated from the University of Technology in Aachen, Germany with a degree in Technical Engineering. He came to Canada in 1982 via USA where he worked as a design engineer in the instrumentation field until 2000. Based in Western Canada since 2000, Chris has been working in Technical Sales serving a wide range of Industrial Clients. Chris joined Kobold Instruments Canada on April 1st, 2008

PSR/PS - Paddle Type Flow Switch
KOBOLD series PSR/PS paddle type flow switches can be used wherever a simple economic yet reliable monitoring instrument is required for flow switching applications. The device operates as follows: The flowing medium presses against the paddle. The paddle is fitted to one end of a balance arm which is in direct contact with a pre-stressed leaf spring. At the other end of the balance arm is a permanent magnet. This magnet actuates a reed contact located within a moveable housing outside the media. The reed contact switches on or off depending on the flow rate. The switch output can then be used for system protection control. The movable reed switch on the KOBOLD PSR/PS allows the contact to be set either normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C) in the field. more...
